Screw eyes – Similar to eyebolts, used as a timber fixing point.
Shackles – A variety of metal U shaped connecting devices.
Shade factor – Percentage of visible and UV light blocked.
Shielding factor – Building influence on wind speed.
Terrain category - Terrain influence on wind speed.
Thimbles – Used to prevent s/s cable from chafing.
Threaded rod – Galvanised or stainless steel rod.
Turnbuckles – A variety of metal tensioning devices.
UV Block – Ultra Violet (radiation) percentage measurement.
Warp – Longitudinal thread direction along a roll of fabric.
Weft – Horizontal thread direction across a roll of fabric.
